The entire Wallenpaupack Coaching Staff would like to take this opportunity to Thank all the parents, volunteers, and school personnel who worked the Ice Breaker Relays or sent in baked goods.
Even though the weather did not cooperate; everyone else did to help pull it off.
Thanks again and to all the athletes who endured the wind, rain and cold ,We as coaches appreciate your dedication to Track and Field .

Congratulations to both teams on their victories over Delaware Valley yesterday. The ladies had a very impressive victory of 96-54 to achieve their 1st win of the season! The boys upset the Warriors by a score of 81-69. The coaches witnessed some VERY MENTALLY TOUGH PERFORMANCES by both teams! This mental toughness is what allowed us to pick up the few extra points that made the difference in the boys meet…GREAT JOB!

Also of note is the fact that the Delaware Valley coaches complimented our team on things like sportsmanship, helping with hurdles and team spirit & unity. You have always exhibited the sportsmanship, but you have added the TEAM characteristics of unity and competitiveness. Continue to develop these traits and use every practice day to work toward the mid-May finale…
HOW GOOD WILL YOU BE ON MAY 17TH???

Both the boys and girls teams suffered losses yesterday, but there were several outstanding individual performances!!
Several athletes had personal records or season best performances and the team spirit was evident again as many team members were present to watch the final event at the javelin.

We are now in mid-season form. Your training and the good competition is resulting in noticable improvements to your times, heights and distances. DON’T LET UP! STAY FOCUSED AND CONTINUE TO IMPROVE SO YOU CAN PUT FORTH YOUR BEST EFFORT AT THE DISTRICT MEET!

Both teams have a shot to get back on track against Delaware Valley on Thursday. They are tough competitors and it will be a battle…
Do what you must to be mentally and physically prepared for battle!
